## About This Space

Most of the matter in the universe gives off no light. Astronomers know it is there because of what it moves. History has the same problem. Movements got organized, books got written, children got raised, code got shipped, and the credit landed on someone else.

This site keeps the record for the people that happened to: women, non-binary, and trans people, from as many centuries and countries as the census can reach. It also points you to the organizations working to make it happen less often.
